The short version

Separate views, qualified views and confirmed income. The result is only as useful as the assumptions you enter.

What this calculator includes

The tool combines two user-defined amounts: a view-based revenue scenario and a sponsorship scenario. It does not connect to TikTok, determine program eligibility or estimate a universal market rate. Rates start blank so that the calculation does not quietly present an invented payout as a default.

Enter the monthly views for the period you want to model, the percentage you expect to qualify under your chosen assumptions, your revenue per thousand qualified views, the number of sponsored posts and your fee per sponsored post. Use the same currency and period throughout. The display uses US dollars; it does not perform currency conversion.

The calculation, step by step

Qualified views equal monthly views multiplied by the qualified share, divided by 100. View revenue equals qualified views divided by 1,000, multiplied by your entered rate. Sponsorship revenue equals the number of sponsored posts multiplied by your entered fee. The scenario total is the sum of those two components.

For a purely illustrative example, 100,000 views with a 40% qualified share produce 40,000 qualified views. If you enter $0.50 per thousand, the view component is $20. Two sponsorships at an entered $150 each add $300, giving a $320 scenario total. These figures demonstrate the formula; they are not a typical rate, a current offer or an expected result.

Qualified views are not the same as all views

TikTok’s official rewards guidance distinguishes qualified views and rewards per thousand qualified views. Check the current rules and your own account reporting for the program relevant to you. This calculator does not evaluate the eligibility of an account, video, region or viewer.

Do not take the view count displayed on a public post and assume all of it produces revenue. If you do not know the qualified share, use several clearly labeled scenarios instead of presenting one uncertain number as a forecast. Keep the source of each assumption in your own notes.

Test the assumptions that change the result

Start with a conservative, middle and optimistic case using assumptions you can explain. Change one variable at a time. If the qualified share doubles while the other inputs stay fixed, the view-revenue component doubles; it does not change the sponsorship component. If you add a sponsored post, the total increases by the entered fee.

This separation helps reveal what the scenario depends on. A large total driven almost entirely by assumed sponsorships should not be described as money paid by the platform. Likewise, an optimistic view rate is not a substitute for verified account statements. Use observed data when available and keep uncertain estimates visibly labeled.

Gross revenue is not take-home income

The calculator does not subtract production costs, software, contractor fees, payment charges or taxes. It also does not model refunds, delayed payments or whether a sponsorship has actually been agreed. Keep those items in a separate budget before treating the total as spendable income.

A sponsored-post fee can depend on the agreed deliverables, usage rights, revisions, exclusivity and distribution. Enter your own confirmed or explicitly assumed fee rather than a general rate you found for a different creator. The tool does not recommend a price or provide tax or financial advice.

For brands evaluating a content budget

A brand may care more about qualified traffic, inquiries or sales than creator-program revenue. Do not use a payout scenario to judge whether a product-content campaign is working. Define the business action you want and measure it through the relevant destination system.

Postraid’s role is content creation and a connected-account workflow, not a guarantee of monetization or automatic revenue attribution. Plan the creative workload and the business measurement separately. A post can be useful to a brand without earning a platform payout, and a large view count can still produce little relevant demand.

Privacy and saving your calculation

Inputs are processed locally on the page. The calculator does not upload them or request social-account credentials. Use the copy button to save the arithmetic summary, then add the date, period and source of your assumptions in your own notes.

Reset clears the current inputs. A blank rate produces no estimated view revenue, and the qualified share is limited to the range from zero to 100%. Review the inputs before sharing the result so that an illustrative scenario cannot be mistaken for a statement of actual earnings.

A few useful answers.

How much does TikTok pay per thousand views?

This tool does not assert one universal rate. Use your own relevant account data and check the current program rules. The rate field applies to the qualified views in your scenario, not automatically to every view.

Does the total predict my next payment?

No. It is arithmetic on your assumptions and does not determine eligibility, adjustments, payment timing or actual sponsorship agreements. Use confirmed statements for income reporting.

Does the result include taxes or costs?

No. It is a gross scenario. Track expenses, fees and applicable taxes separately, and obtain qualified advice for your circumstances when needed.
